The association registered as Persatuan Kawalan Infeksi dan Antimikrobial Kota Kinabalu Sabah with its acronym ( PKIAKKS ) or in English Infection Control And Antimicrobial Society Kota Kinabalu , Sabah ( ICASKKS ) .

This association has been established since 19 September 2011. The association is based in Infection Control Unit, Sabah Womens's and Children's Hospital (SWACH), Locked Bag 187, 88996 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Our Missions :

Carry out activities related to education and further education such as seminars , courses and training to its members .

Promote the development of education in the field of infection control , antimicrobial and other info .

Expand knowledge of all experts in the field of infection control and antimicrobial with scientific discussions and meetings in order to exchange ideas and knowledge .

Encourages all members to produce the scientific literature and journals in the field of infection control and antimicrobial .

Into cooperation and collaboration with the hospitals , private and government organizations , agencies and medical associations that are relevant in the field of infection control and antimicrobial
